Potts Drone Co. was founded by a veteran drone pilot with a decade of hands on flight experience, and more than 1,500 logged flight hours across a multitude of drone platforms.

Do you come in person or fly it remotely?
All jobs are performed on site. We’ll call the day of service to confirm your scheduled time.
Do you do an estimate first, or clean on the first visit?
We offer fixed rate packages you can choose from. No estimates required.
How long does the process take?
We estimate 30 minutes to 1 hour per 1,000 square feet. This includes setup, application, and cleanup.
Do I need to be home?
Yes. Someone 18 or older must be present to sign for the service.
What areas do you clean?
We currently provide comprehensive cleaning for roofs only. Please contact us to discuss facade, siding or windows.
What prep do I need to do?
Notify all household members in advance. Per FAA regulations, no one may be beneath the drone during operation. Please keep pets indoors.
What exactly does the drone do?
Using advanced aerial technology, the drone applies an eco-friendly, citric-based soft wash solution to your roof.
Does someone still need to scrub anything?
No. This is a fully touch-free application. No scrubbing required.
Is it safe for landscaping, pets, and property?
Yes. Our natural citric-based solution is designed with safety in mind. It works gently over time with sun and rain to clean and protect your roof.
What if I have trees or objects near my roof?
For safety and compliance reasons, we cannot clean roofs that have trees, wires, or other obstructions directly above or near the house. If you schedule a service and the property cannot be safely accessed, we will do our best to complete the cleaning where possible. Please contact us for more information.
Can you apply protection to a roof that’s already clean?
We recommend a reduced cost application for protective coating only. Perfect for newer roofs or those already cleaned. This helps prevent future staining and keeps surfaces looking their best.
How do you avoid damage?
Our drone maintains a minimum one-meter distance from your roof, using onboard sensors to apply a smooth, even coating without contact.
What makes your system better than pressure washing?
Pressure washing relies on high force to strip away stains which can damage shingles and surfaces. Our soft wash system cleans safely and effectively with no abrasion.
How high can the drone go?
As high as needed. Our current record is 15 stories.
What happens if it rains or is windy?
We monitor weather conditions closely. If weather prevents safe flight, we’ll reschedule your service at no cost.
It's been a week and I still see stains on my roof. Is this normal?
Yes. The speed of results depends on the age and severity of the stains, as well as weather conditions. Most customers see visible improvement within 24 to 72 hours.
Do you offer follow-up or recurring service?
Yes. We recommend a reduced cost application every 6 months to keep your roof looking like new.
